Agricola Centolani

Agricola Centolani operates in Brunello di Montalcino, the Tuscan heartland where Sangiovese reaches its most structured expression. The winery produces two flagship reds: Brunello di Montalcino Riserva and Pietrafocaia Toscana Rosso, both built on Sangiovese. The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, subject to extended aging requirements that define the appellation, has been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, and Wine Advocate. Pietrafocaia Toscana Rosso, a Sangiovese-based blend outside the Brunello classification, offers a complementary expression of the region's signature grape. Both wines reflect the volcanic soils and continental climate of central Tuscany, where Sangiovese develops the tannin structure and acidity for which Montalcino is recognized.
