Albino Piona produces wines from Veneto in northern Italy, drawing on the region's classical grape varieties and winemaking traditions. The winery's Bardolino, a blend of Rondinella and Corvina, expresses the bright, mineral character typical of wines from the eastern shore of Lake Garda. Its Bardolino Chiaretto—the same varieties in a lighter, rosé style—captures the freshness and acidity that define the appellation. Custoza, a white blend anchored by Trebbiano and Garganega with contributions from Incrocio Manzoni, Tocai Friulano, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Cortese, and Riesling Italico, demonstrates the complexity possible in Veneto's multivariety whites. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Wine Spectator.
