Aurélien Chatagnier

Aurélien Chatagnier works the steep slopes of the Rhone Valley, where granite and schist demand precision from those who farm them. The winery's Saint-Joseph Blanc, built from Marsanne and Roussanne, captures the mineral intensity and textural depth the northern Rhone is known for. In red, Cornas—pure Syrah from one of France's most demanding appellations—shows the dark fruit and structural grip the variety achieves on these challenging terroirs. Le Buis Saint-Joseph, also Syrah-based, rounds the portfolio with its own expression of the appellation's character. Wine Advocate, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast have all rated these wines, reflecting their standing among serious critics of the region.
