Brusset

Brusset is rooted in Cairanne, a village appellation within the Southern Rhône that has emerged as a source of serious, age-worthy wines. The winery works with the region's classical varieties: Syrah and Grenache for its reds, white grapes like Viognier and Roussanne for its paler offerings. Les Secrets de Montmirail Gigondas, a Syrah and Grenache blend, represents the upper register of the portfolio, while Hommage à André Brusset Cairanne—built on Grenache and Mourvèdre—anchors the house style. A white blend, L'Esprit de Papet Cairanne, draws on Clairette, Viognier, Roussanne, and Grenache Blanc. The wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Falstaff, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast. Cairanne's warm, sun-exposed slopes and old-vine plantings yield wines with the structure and depth characteristic of the Southern Rhône's best terroirs.
