Caminhos Cruzados
Caminhos Cruzados produces wines from the Dão region in Portugal's Beiras, a territory defined by granite soils and a continental climate that shapes distinctive red and white expressions. The winery works with indigenous Portuguese varieties—Jaen and Alfrocheiro Preto among them—that thrive in this demanding terroir. Vinhas da Teixuga Dão, made from Jaen, and the Alfrocheiro bottling represent the winery's focus on these regional grapes, each capturing the mineral precision and structured tannins characteristic of Dão reds. The Reserva Branco, a blend of Bical, Encruzado, and Gouveio, demonstrates the region's capacity for complex white wines with acidity and depth. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
