Camus Père & Fils
Camus Père & Fils works the hallowed terroirs of Gevrey-Chambertin, in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits. The house produces Pinot Noir across a range of appellations, from village-level Gevrey-Chambertin to two Grand Cru holdings: Charmes-Chambertin and Chambertin. These are wines of the region's classical character—structured, mineral-driven, built for aging. The Charmes-Chambertin, rated 93.0 by prestige critics including Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Wine Enthusiast, exemplifies the elegance and complexity that define the finest expressions of this slope. The village Gevrey-Chambertin (89.5) offers entry to the appellation's distinctive profile, while the Chambertin Grand Cru (88.1) represents the apex of the classification. Gevrey-Chambertin itself is known for wines of power and finesse, where Pinot Noir develops the dark fruit intensity and silky tannin structure that have made the commune essential to serious collectors.
