Carvinea produces wines in Puglia, the sun-drenched region of southern Italy's heel. The winery works primarily with Aglianico, the region's signature dark grape, often blended with Montepulciano and Petit Verdot to build structure and depth. The Metodo Classico Brut Rosè, made from Aglianico and crafted in the traditional sparkling method, demonstrates the grape's capacity for refinement and complexity. Lunachiena, a blend of Montepulciano, Aglianico, and Petit Verdot, and Frauma, combining Aglianico with Petit Verdot, round out the portfolio. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
