Casa de Saima

Casa de Saima works the granite soils and Atlantic-influenced climate of Bairrada, in Portugal's Beiras region. The winery draws on local varieties—Maria Gomes, Sercial, and Bical for whites; Baga and Touriga Nacional for reds and rosés. Vinhas Velhas, a white blend of Maria Gomes, Sercial, and Bical, anchors the portfolio. A dry rosé built from Baga and Touriga Nacional offers the structure and minerality typical of Bairrada's cooler terroir. The Garrafeira, aged Baga, rounds out the range. Wines from Casa de Saima have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast.
