Casado Alvides
Casado Alvides produces Tempranillo from Castilla y León, Spain's vast central plateau. The region's continental climate—marked by hot days, cool nights, and low rainfall—shapes wines of structure and depth. The winery's core releases center on Tempranillo in three expressions: the Tempranillo Roble, aged in oak; the Tercera Generación Tempranillo; and a Crianza. Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast have rated these wines, with the Tempranillo Roble earning particular recognition among the three. Castilla y León's sandy, clay-rich soils and high elevation produce Tempranillo with firm tannins and mineral character—wines built for food and time.
