Casetto

Casetto produces wines from Bardolino, the historic red wine region of Veneto in northern Italy. The winery's portfolio centers on the local Bardolino classifications, built from the region's traditional grape blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. The Bardolino Classico Superiore elevates this foundation with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, creating a wine of greater structure and depth. The standard Bardolino Classico expresses the pure character of the native varieties, while the Bardolino Chiaretto Classico—a lighter, rosé-styled expression—offers a different perspective on the same fruit. Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, and Falstaff have all assessed Casetto's releases. The winery's work reflects the mineral-driven, medium-bodied character typical of Bardolino, where the cool influence of nearby Lake Garda moderates the growing season and defines the wines' freshness and balance.
