Chanssaud
Chanssaud produces wines from Southern Rhône's most celebrated appellation, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The winery's portfolio centers on the region's classic red blends, built from Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah—varieties that thrive in the area's distinctive terroir of large stones and alluvial soils. D'Antan Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a Grenache-led blend with Mourvèdre and Syrah, represents the house's core expression. Charles de Valois Châteauneuf-du-Pape offers an alternative take, emphasizing Mourvèdre and Syrah alongside Grenache. The winery also produces a white Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Clairette and Grenache Blanc, capturing the region's mineral and aromatic character. Wines from Chanssaud have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Wine Spectator.
