Château de Montfaucon

Château de Montfaucon produces wines from the Rhone Valley, drawing on the region's signature varieties—Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsault. The winery's portfolio centers on two appellations: Lirac and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Baron Eugène Lirac, a blend of Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, and Syrah, represents the house's approach to the lighter-bodied Lirac designation. The Baron de Montfaucon Cuvée Bimard Châteauneuf-du-Pape—built from Cinsault, Syrah, and Grenache—anchors the winery's work in the region's most prestigious appellation. Vin de Monsieur Le Baron rounds out the core range, combining Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. These wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff.
