Château La Mouline

Château La Mouline sits in Moulis-en-Médoc, a Left Bank appellation defined by gravelly plateaus and clay-limestone soils that shape wines of structure and depth. The estate produces two principal wines: the flagship Moulis-en-Médoc, a Cabernet Sauvignon–led blend with Cabernet Franc and Merlot, and Le Listrac de la Mouline, a Merlot-forward expression with supporting Cabernet varieties. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Decanter. The Moulis-en-Médoc reflects the region's signature character—dark fruit, mineral tension, and the firm tannin structure that Médoc Cabernet-dominant blends are built upon. Le Listrac de la Mouline offers a softer entry point, with Merlot's plushness tempering the grip of its Cabernet components. Together, they represent the dual expression of terroir and winemaking philosophy in one of Bordeaux's most understated appellations.
