Château Petit Bocq

Château Petit Bocq sits in Saint-Estèphe, the northernmost appellation of the Médoc, where gravelly soils and a maritime climate shape wines of structure and depth. The estate produces two principal offerings: its Saint-Estèphe, a Cabernet Sauvignon–led blend with Petit Verdot and Merlot, and La Coccinelle de Petit Bocq, which reverses the proportion of Merlot and Petit Verdot within a similar framework. Both wines have been assessed by Falstaff, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Wine Spectator. Saint-Estèphe's blend emphasizes the power and tannin structure characteristic of the appellation, while La Coccinelle de Petit Bocq offers a complementary expression of the same terroir and varietals. The region's cool growing season and left-bank Bordeaux tradition inform the house style: wines built for aging, with the mineral backbone and dark fruit typical of the northern Médoc.
