Closerie du Bailli
Closerie du Bailli produces wines from Côtes de Bourg and Blaye, two appellations within Bordeaux's right-bank territories. The winery works with the classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc—grapes that thrive in these maritime-influenced regions. The Grande Réserve Côtes de Bourg, a Cabernet Sauvignon–led blend, represents the winery's top expression and has been rated by Wine Enthusiast. A second Grande Réserve, drawn from Blaye, similarly balances the three primary varieties. The Tradition Blaye rounds out the portfolio, offering a Merlot-forward interpretation of the appellation. These wines reflect the character of their respective terroirs: Côtes de Bourg's clay and limestone soils, and Blaye's cooler microclimates, both capable of producing structured, age-worthy reds.
