Coume del Mas works the steep schist terroirs of Collioure, in the sun-baked corner where Languedoc-Roussillon meets the Mediterranean. The winery focuses on Grenache and its traditional Midi partners—Carignan and Mourvèdre—varieties that thrive in this austere landscape of slate and stone. Quintessence Banyuls, a pure Grenache expression, and Schistes Collioure, also Grenache-based, anchor the portfolio with depth and mineral tension. Quadratur, a Carignan-Grenache-Mourvèdre blend, rounds out the range. These wines have drawn assessment from Wine Advocate and Decanter, reflecting the technical precision applied to fruit grown in one of France's most demanding terroirs.
