Damijan Podversic produces wines from Venezia Giulia, the northeastern corner of Friuli-Venezia Giulia where Alpine influence meets Mediterranean warmth. The winery works with the region's signature white varieties: Friulano, Malvasia, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio. Kaplja, a blend of Friulano, Malvasia, and Chardonnay, represents the house's approach to layered, mineral-driven whites. The Pinot Grigio and Malvasia stand as focused expressions of their respective varieties—grapes that thrive in this limestone-rich terroir. Wine Spectator, Falstaff, and Wine Advocate have assessed the portfolio. The wines reflect Venezia Giulia's continental character: crisp acidity, stone fruit precision, and the subtle salinity that defines the region's best whites.
