Domaine Chardigny

Domaine Chardigny works within Coteaux Bourguignons, the southern reaches of Bourgogne where limestone-rich soils and continental climate shape wines of mineral precision. The domaine focuses on two classic Burgundian varieties: Gamay, which thrives in the region's granite terroirs, and Chardonnay, the white backbone of the appellation. Saint-Amour À la Folie and Saint-Amour Le Clos du Chapitre, both Gamay-based, demonstrate the variety's capacity for structure and depth in this corner of France. Saint-Veran Au Bois de Fee, a Chardonnay, reflects the region's signature tension between richness and acidity. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
