Domaine de Chevalier sits in Pessac-Léognan, the heart of Graves, where gravel soils and Atlantic influence shape wines of mineral precision. The estate produces three core expressions: Le Petit Chevalier, a five-varietal blend anchored in Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec; Chateau Soubian, a Merlot-Cabernet pairing; and Le Port de la Lune, a three-varietal Bordeaux blend. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Falstaff. The Graves region is defined by its gravelly terroir and the balance it imparts—structure without heaviness, dark fruit without excess. Pessac-Léognan, its northern enclave, refines that character further, favoring Cabernet-led blends with aging potential and subtle earth notes.
