Domaine de Vaufuget

Domaine de Vaufuget produces Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, the historic white wine appellation of the Middle Loire Valley. The region's cool climate and limestone-rich soils shape wines of mineral precision and natural acidity. The domaine's Vouvray expresses the varietal's characteristic balance of fruit and structure, while the Réserve du Naufraget represents a more concentrated expression of the same terroir and grape. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator. Vouvray itself ranges from dry to sweet depending on vintage conditions and winemaker intent; Chenin Blanc's versatility in the region reflects centuries of cultivation along the Loire. The appellation remains one of France's most distinctive sources for age-worthy white wine.
