Domaine des Bérioles sits in Saint-Pourçain, a limestone-rich corner of the Loire Valley where ancient grape varieties thrive in continental conditions. The domaine works with Sacy, a white grape of regional significance, and Pinot Noir and Gamay—varieties that define the Loire's red character. Its Autochtone Trésallier, made from Sacy, shows the mineral precision and structure the appellation is known for. The Auvernat, a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, captures the elegance and earthiness typical of Loire reds. Both wines have been assessed by Decanter. Saint-Pourçain's volcanic soils and cool climate produce wines of clarity and restraint, and Domaine des Bérioles works within that tradition of terroir-driven expression.
