Dominique Lafon

Dominique Lafon produces wines from the Côte de Beaune, the heart of Burgundy's white and red wine country. The winery's portfolio centers on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir—the region's defining varieties. Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Champgain, a Chardonnay, represents the winery's work with the limestone-rich terroirs that give white Burgundy its mineral precision and aging potential. On the red side, Volnay 1er Cru 'Les Lurets' and Beaune 1er Cru 'Les Vignes Franches' showcase Pinot Noir from two of the Côte de Beaune's most respected communes. Volnay is prized for its silky texture and floral character; Beaune for its structure and depth. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff.
