E. Guigal produces wines from the Northern Rhône, where steep granite slopes and continental climate shape some of France's most structured reds. The winery's portfolio centers on Syrah-based expressions from the region's most prestigious appellations. Ermitage Ex-Voto, a pure Syrah, represents the pinnacle of the range, while Côte-Rôtie La Turque blends Syrah with Viognier—the white grape traditionally co-fermented in the appellation to add aromatic complexity and textural finesse. Côte-Rôtie La Landonne, another Syrah-driven wine, captures the dark mineral intensity for which the appellation is known.
