Edi Simčič produces wines from Slovenia's Primorje region, where Mediterranean and continental influences shape the terroir. The winery's portfolio centers on both indigenous and international varieties. Single Vineyard Kozana Merlot, the flagship red, demonstrates the region's capacity for structured, age-worthy wines from Merlot. Malvazija, made from Malvasia, captures the aromatic white character typical of the Adriatic coast. Rebula, crafted from Ribolla Gialla, rounds out the range with the mineral precision and herbal notes the variety expresses in this northeastern corner of the Mediterranean. The wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff.
