Fedellos do Couto operates in Ribeira Sacra, Galicia's steep-terraced wine region in northwestern Spain, where granite slopes and Atlantic influence shape distinctive red wines. The winery works with indigenous and regional varieties suited to the terrain: Trousseau, Mencia, Garnacha Tintorera, and Grao Negro. Bastarda, a Trousseau-based wine, represents the winery's highest-rated expression. Peixes da Rocha blends Mencia with Garnacha Tintorera and Grao Negro, while Lomba dos Ares focuses on Mencia alone.
