Franco Conterno

Franco Conterno produces Nebbiolo-based wines from Piemonte in Northern Italy. The winery's portfolio centers on Barolo, the region's most prestigious expression of the variety. Barolo Bussia Munie Riserva, the flagship reserve, demonstrates the depth and structure that extended aging brings to Nebbiolo from this terroir. Barolo Pietrin offers a complementary expression of the same grape, while Langhe Nebbiolo Cascina Sciulun presents a younger, more approachable interpretation. Nebbiolo is known for its high tannins, acidity, and capacity to evolve over decades—qualities evident across Franco Conterno's range. The wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
