Gabriel Meffre

Gabriel Meffre produces wines from the Southern Rhône, a region celebrated for its bold red blends and aromatic whites. The winery's portfolio centers on the classic varieties of the area: Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre for reds, and Viognier for whites. Château La Bégude Gigondas Les Solitaires, a Syrah-Grenache-Mourvèdre blend, represents the winery's work in Gigondas, one of the Southern Rhône's most structured appellations. Bois Fardeau Crozes-Hermitage showcases Syrah from the northern reaches of the region, where the grape develops darker fruit and mineral precision. Gabriel Viognier captures the aromatic character typical of the variety—floral and stone-fruit driven. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Falstaff.
