Giachino

Giachino produces wines from Piemonte, the northern Italian region celebrated for its native varietals and food-friendly reds. The winery focuses on grapes central to the region's identity: Dolcetto, Barbera, and Albarossa. Its Dolcetto Monferrato and Vigneto del Pian Barbera d'Alba represent the core of the portfolio, both earning consistent recognition from Wine Spectator. Dolcetto brings the varietal's characteristic brightness and approachable tannin structure, while Barbera from Alba—one of Piemonte's most prestigious zones—offers the grape's signature acidity and dark fruit character. The Albarossa, a newer crossing developed in the region, rounds out the range. These wines reflect the Piemontese tradition of balancing freshness with structure, suited to the region's rich cuisine and varied terrain.
