Groebe

Groebe produces Riesling from Rheinhessen, Germany's largest wine region. The winery's portfolio centers on dry and off-dry expressions of the variety, with particular focus on vineyard-designated bottlings. Kirchspiel Riesling GG and Aulerde Riesling GG represent the dry end of the range, while Kirchspiel Riesling Spätlese captures the region's tradition of noble-sweet wines made from late-harvested fruit. All three have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Falstaff. Rheinhessen's warm continental climate and diverse soils—from limestone to clay—support Riesling's mineral precision and fruit expression. Groebe's work with the variety reflects the region's capacity for both crisp, food-friendly wines and richer, age-worthy bottlings.
