Justino's Madeira

Justino's Madeira produces fortified wines from the island of Madeira, off the coast of Portugal. The winery works with the region's traditional grape varieties: Malvasia, Tinta Negra Mole, and Verdelho. Its Malvasia 20 Years Old Madeira, aged two decades, represents the house's commitment to extended maturation. The Fine Rich Madeira, built on Tinta Negra Mole, and the V. J. H. Verdelho Madeira round out the portfolio. Madeira's volcanic terroir and maritime climate create conditions for the oxidative aging that defines the category—wines that develop complexity and depth over time. Wine Advocate has rated these expressions. The winery's releases reflect the technical demands of Madeira production: precise fortification, controlled oxidation, and patience.
