La Coterie

La Coterie produces wines from the Southern Rhône, a region defined by sun-baked hillsides and the Mistral wind that shapes its character. The winery works with the classic varieties of the area: Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre—grapes that thrive in the region's warm continental climate and gravelly soils. Its Vacqueyras, a blend of Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Grenache, demonstrates the depth these varieties achieve in the appellation's protected vineyards. The Beaumes-de-Venise and Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages 'Seguret' follow similar blending patterns, each drawing on the same core palette to express the nuances of their respective terroirs. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate. The Southern Rhône style—ripe fruit, structured tannins, and the mineral grip of limestone and clay—runs through La Coterie's portfolio, reflecting the region's tradition of balancing power with restraint.
