La Millière

La Millière produces Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the Southern Rhône, the region's most prestigious appellation. The winery's portfolio centers on the classic Rhône blend: Grenache anchors the wines, with Shiraz, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault adding structure and complexity. La Bessade Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the flagship, combines Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre into a wine of considerable depth. The Vieilles Vignes bottling draws from older vines, layering Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Shiraz, and Grenache for additional texture. A core Châteauneuf-du-Pape rounds the range, built on Shiraz, Mourvèdre, and Grenache. Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast have both assessed the portfolio. Southern Rhône wines are known for their ripe fruit, warm spice, and the particular character that Grenache brings to the region—a balance of power and elegance that defines the appellation's identity.
