La Muntanya operates in Alicante, the southern reach of Valencia's wine region, where Mediterranean heat and limestone soils shape distinctive Mediterranean varieties. The winery works with indigenous grapes—Merseguera and Malvasia in white blends, Garnacha Tintorera and Monastrell in reds—that thrive in this climate. Albir, a Merseguera-Malvasia blend, and Almoroig, built from Garnacha Tintorera, Monastrell, and Garnacha, represent the winery's core offerings and have been assessed by Wine Advocate. Bonicaire, a Trepat wine, rounds out the portfolio. These selections reflect the regional character of Alicante: warm-climate intensity tempered by the mineral precision of local terroir.
