Maison L'Orée
Maison L'Orée works the limestone slopes of Côte de Beaune, where Burgundy's finest Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays take root. The winery's portfolio centers on the region's most prestigious terroirs: Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru and Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru 'Lavaux St. Jacques' showcase the dark fruit intensity and mineral structure that define the northern Côte. A Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Chenevottes' in Chardonnay rounds the range, capturing the white wine elegance for which the southern Côte is celebrated. Wine Spectator has rated these wines, recognizing their depth and complexity. The house produces wines rooted in Burgundy's classical approach—restrained oak, site-driven character, and the tension between ripeness and acidity that gives these wines their longevity.
