Pietra Pinta
Pietra Pinta works with the native grapes and terroir of Lazio, the region surrounding Rome in central Italy. The winery's portfolio centers on Nero Buono di Cori, a dark-skinned variety rooted in local tradition, which appears in Colle Amato—their flagship expression of the grape. Alongside this regional anchor, Pietra Pinta produces Costa Vecchia Bianco from Malvasia, the aromatic white that has long defined Lazio's white wine character, and a Chardonnay that reflects the international varieties now woven into the region's modern identity. Wine Spectator has rated the winery's releases, with Colle Amato reaching particular recognition among critics. The wines span the range of what contemporary Lazio offers: indigenous depth, classical white aromatics, and the cosmopolitan appeal of international cultivars.
