Quinta do Arrobe
Quinta do Arrobe sits in the Tejo region of central Portugal, where continental warmth and Atlantic influence shape the terroir. The winery works with indigenous Portuguese varieties, drawing on Arinto de Bucelas and Trincadeira das Pratas to craft its portfolio. The Quinto Elemento Reserva Arinto Chão Calcário, made from Arinto de Bucelas, reflects the mineral precision that limestone soils impart to this traditional white variety. Its sibling, the Quinto Elemento Trincadeira Preta Blanc De Noir, takes the dark-skinned Trincadeira das Pratas into rosé territory, a less common expression of the grape. The Mensagem Reserva rounds out the core range. Wine Enthusiast has rated these expressions, recognizing their technical merit within the broader context of Portuguese wine's growing diversity.
