Quinta do Cume produces wines from the Douro region of Northern Portugal, where the steep terraced vineyards and schist soils shape the character of the indigenous varieties. The winery works with Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Franca—grapes central to the region's identity. Its Grande Reserva, a blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional, represents the house's approach to structure and depth. The single-varietal Vinhas Velhas Old Vines and Touriga Nacional bottlings showcase the potential of mature vines in this demanding terroir. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
