Recaredo produces sparkling wines in Penedès, Catalonia, from indigenous varieties that define the region's terroir. The winery focuses on Xarel-lo and Macabeo—grapes that thrive in this Mediterranean climate and deliver mineral, structured wines suited to extended aging. The Corpinnat Enoteca Reserva Particular de Recaredo, a blend of Xarel-lo and Macabeo, and the Reserva Particular de Recaredo Brut Nature, made from Xarel-lo alone, represent the winery's approach to traditional method sparkling wine. The Corpinnat Subtil Brut Nature offers a leaner expression of the same grape. All three wines have been rated by Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Falstaff. Penedès has long been Spain's primary sparkling wine region, and these bottlings reflect the precision and acidity the area is known for—wines built for food and time in the glass rather than immediate consumption.
