Reuscher Haart

Reuscher Haart works the steep slate slopes of Piesport, in the Mosel valley of Germany, where Riesling thrives in one of Europe's most demanding terroirs. The winery's portfolio centers on three expressions from the region's most celebrated vineyard sites: Piesporter Goldtröpfchen and Piesporter Treppchen. The Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Auslese, a late-harvest wine of concentrated fruit and noble sweetness, ranks highest among the winery's offerings. The Spätlese from the same vineyard offers a slightly drier profile while retaining the mineral precision and stone-fruit character typical of the site. The dry Piesporter Treppchen Riesling completes the range. All three have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Wine Enthusiast. Mosel Rieslings of this caliber balance acidity with subtle sweetness and a distinctive slate minerality—wines built for contemplation rather than flash.
