Romain Duvernay produces wines from the Southern Rhône, a region defined by warm Mediterranean conditions and a tradition of blended reds built on Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. The winery's Domaine des Pentelines Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages brings together all three varieties in a wine that balances the region's ripe fruit character with structure and depth. Two single-varietal expressions showcase the precision possible in the Northern Rhône's steeper terrain: a Cornas and a Saint-Joseph, both built on Syrah's dark fruit and mineral spine. The winery's wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Falstaff.
