Rough Day produces wines from Bulgaria's Thracian Valley, a region gaining recognition for its continental climate and mineral-rich soils. The winery's portfolio centers on two classical varieties: a Pinot Noir that has drawn attention from major critics including Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Falstaff; and a Chardonnay of comparable critical standing. A Rosé made from Gamza—a native Balkan grape known for its spicy, structured character—rounds out the core range. These wines reflect the Thracian Valley's capacity to express both Old World restraint and the region's distinctive terroir.
