Weinbau Dietrich

Weinbau Dietrich operates in Weinland, the eastern wine region of Niederösterreich, Austria's largest wine-producing state. The winery focuses on two indigenous red varieties central to Austrian viticulture: Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt. Spitzerberg, a Blaufränkisch, represents the winery's work with this variety, known for its dark fruit intensity and structured tannins. Monice, also Blaufränkisch, offers another expression of the grape's potential in the region. Rubin Carnuntum, crafted from Zweigelt, draws on that variety's characteristic spice and cherry-forward profile. Falstaff has rated wines from the portfolio. The Weinland region, situated in Austria's continental east, produces wines shaped by warm days and cool nights, conditions that define the character of both Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt across the area.
