Weingut Haimerl

Weingut Haimerl works the Weinland region of Niederösterreich, Austria's largest wine territory. The winery focuses on Grüner Veltliner, the white grape that defines Austrian viticulture—mineral, herbaceous, and built on acidity. Its core expression, the Grüner Veltliner, anchors the portfolio. Two reserve bottlings, the Ried Redling and Gobelsburger Redling, both Grüner Veltliner, represent a more concentrated approach to the variety. Falstaff has assessed the winery's output. The Weinland itself spans diverse soils and microclimates across the eastern lowlands, territory where Grüner Veltliner thrives with particular freshness and precision.
