Zifar

Zifar produces wines from Castilla y León, Spain's expansive continental plateau. The winery works primarily with Tempranillo, the region's signature red variety, which thrives in the area's cool nights and intense sun. Two Tempranillo-based wines—Caballero Zifar and Crianza—have been assessed by Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator. The winery also makes Caballero Albillo Mayor, a white wine from the indigenous Albillo Mayor grape, a variety with deep roots in Castilian viticulture. Albillo Mayor offers a different expression of the terroir, bringing aromatic complexity to the portfolio. Zifar's range reflects the diversity of grapes and styles that define Castilla y León's wine landscape.
