Antico Colle produces Sangiovese-based wines from Montepulciano in Tuscany's central hills. The winery's core range spans three expressions of the region's signature varietal: Rosso di Montepulciano, a lighter, earlier-drinking iteration; Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, the region's structured standard; and Il Saggio Riserva, a reserve-level interpretation built for aging. Sangiovese from this terroir typically shows dark cherry, earth, and mineral tension—qualities that emerge across Antico Colle's lineup.
