Gualdo del Re

Gualdo del Re produces wines from central Tuscany that draw on the region's dual heritage of Sangiovese tradition and international varieties. Il Gualdo Sangiovese, the winery's flagship expression, channels the classic structure and earth-driven character of its namesake grape. The portfolio extends to Cabraia Rosso Toscana, a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon that reflects the Tuscan appetite for Bordeaux varieties alongside native cultivars. Federico Primo, a Cabernet Sauvignon, rounds out the core range. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, and Wine Advocate, anchoring the winery within serious critical discourse. The house demonstrates a commitment to both varietal purity and blended complexity across its range.
