Quinta de Ceis
Quinta de Ceis sits in the Douro region of Northern Portugal, where steep terraced vineyards and schist soils shape wines of structure and depth. The winery works with the region's classic varieties—Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, and Tinta Roriz—grapes that thrive in the Douro's continental climate and deliver dark fruit, tannin, and aging potential. The Goivaens Vinhas Velhas Tinto, a blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, and Touriga Nacional, represents the winery's approach to old-vine expression. The Grande Reserva Tinto, built from Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca, shows the complexity that emerges from careful varietal selection. A white offering, the Goivaens Vinhas Velhas Branco, rounds out the portfolio. Wine Advocate has rated these releases.
