Romariz produces Port wines from the Duriense region of Northern Portugal, where steep schist slopes and the Douro River's microclimate shape the character of traditional fortified wines. The winery's Vintage Port blends Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional—grapes selected for their depth and aging potential in the region's demanding terrain. A Late Bottled Vintage expression adds Tinta Cão to the blend, offering a more approachable entry point while maintaining the structure characteristic of Douro reds. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Falstaff, Decanter, and Wine Enthusiast, reflecting the critical attention commanded by serious Port production.
